Wilmington Children’s Chorus

The Wilmington Children’s Chorus name has become synonymous with excellence: excellence in singing, excellence in performance, and excellence in education. A multi-cultural children’s choir sponsored by the City of Wilmington, and as a project of Cityfest, Inc., the WCC gives our youth the opportunity and tools to excel while enriching our community with the unique sound and spirit of children’s voices. The WCC involves over 300 singers, ages 6-18, in five different performing ensembles and four Neighborhood Choirs.

They regularly collaborate with the area’s top arts organizations including the Delaware Symphony Orchestra, OperaDelaware, First State Ballet Theatre, Delaware Choral Arts, and the Philadelphia Arab Music Ensemble and engage in international exchanges with young musicians from Wilmington’s Sister Cities across the world. For the past fourteen years, WCC has provided this high-quality educational program for youth without the burden of tuition or membership fees.
